Bright, indirect light. Grows naturally on the sides of trees in natural and receive filtered light.
Let the top 1/3 of soil dry out before watering. Needs well-draining soil + a vessel with drainage holes OR can be mounted on a wood slab that's been treated to protect against rot.
+ This plant will grow thick brown shields that will eventually encompass the root ball. Do not remove it! There's also a protective powdery layer on the leaves, do not wipe off.
